Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in information security.
• Experience scripting/programming for security automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Serverless, containers).
• Excellent soft skills—able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards and best practices.
• Proficiency with security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
• Strong understanding of networks, operating systems, and application security.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the security engineering team to build scalable applications and security automation.
• Own the strategy for assigned security domains, including tactical initiatives and multi-year plans.
• Partner with SRE, Data Engineering, GenAI and Product teams to identify security posture improvements and execute plans.
• Maintain standards and procedures aligned with regulatory and internal policies.
• Lead engagements with internal and external audits applicable to first line technology.
• Mentor junior engineers to uplift knowledge and standard operating procedures.
