Job summary

TD Securities in Singapore is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join the TD Engineering team to design and implement automation solutions for threat management and security operations.

You will work across Windows and Linux, RESTful/SOAP integrations, and cloud-based architectures while applying Agile/DevOps practices.

This role offers room to grow within a global bank and contribute to the automation roadmap and security controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience including architecting, designing and programming.
• 3+ years programming in Python.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services and JSON/XML.
• Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
• Knowledge of cloud, container and microservices architectures.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms.
• Data analytics and building machine learning models is a plus.
• Experience in information security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously optimize solutions to meet changing security needs and landscape.
• Create technical and user documentation to enable knowledge sharing.
• Provide consultation and ongoing support to enable user adoption and realize business value.
• Execute development activities using a fast and iterative Agile/DevOps approach.
• Hand-off positive outcomes to end users with required technical documentation.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and control standards.
