Job summary

ABPGROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an early-career cybersecurity engineer to deliver and support enterprise security solutions for clients across industries.

You will work with project teams to deploy secure infrastructure and assist with security operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 2+ years hands-on cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems, or network engineering experience.
• Candidates from infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or software development backgrounds who want to transition into cybersecurity welcome.
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, networking, OS, cloud environments, or security tech.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently and in project teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support enterprise cybersecurity solutions for clients.
• Work with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to deploy secure infrastructure and security systems.
• Support security operations activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident investigation, and remediation.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize security technologies such as endpoint protection, SIEM, identity security, network security.
• Participate in system integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
• Identify security gaps and implement practical solutions to enhance security posture.
• Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate security into environments.
• Evaluate and implement new security tools and technologies to improve operational effectiveness and cyber resilience.

• Participate in system integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities
• Assist in identifying security gaps and implementing practical solutions to enhance overall security posture

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems, or network engineering roles
• Candidates with infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or software development backgrounds who are keen to transition into cybersecurity are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, networking, operating systems, cloud environments, or security technologies
