Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a cybersecurity professional to support security operations, cyber defence, security engineering and product security across monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security and automation.

You will develop and implement playbooks, detection rules and response procedures, while reviewing IAM and security controls based on least privilege and zero trust principles in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity, CS, IT, or related engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, security architecture and threat modelling.
• Experience with cloud security, Kubernetes and CI/CD security.
• Familiar with SIEM/EDR and cloud security monitoring tools.
• Understanding incident response, threat detection and threat hunting.
• Knowledge of IAM, secrets management and Zero Trust concepts.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Exposure to AI coding assistants or agentic AI workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity operations, including security reporting, dashboards, vulnerability management and compliance activities.
• Review and validate security vulnerabilities and support remediation activities.
• Assist with incident response, alert investigation, threat hunting and security monitoring.
• Develop and improve security playbooks, detection rules and response procedures.
• Support IAM reviews and security controls based on least privilege and zero trust principles.
• Apply security standards across CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and cloud environments.

• Develop security-related POCs, automation and technical solutions using scripting and security tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, security architecture and threat modelling.
• Familiarity with cloud security, Kubernetes and CI/CD security.
• Experience or exposure to SIEM, EDR and cloud security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of incident response, threat detection and threat hunting.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), secrets management and Zero Trust.
• Scripting or automation skills using Python, Bash or similar tools.
• Familiarity with security testing and code/cloud security tools.
• Exposure to AI coding assistants or agentic AI workflows is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently, manage changing priorities and know when to lift issues.

Education & Experience

• Relevant cybersecurity experience is preferred.
• Candidates with strong technical fundamentals and demonstrated potential are also encouraged to apply.

Certifications

Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications will be an advantage.
