Job summary

Citi in Singapore is seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Securities & Derivatives Processing team as an Officer, Hybrid. You will own post-trade client relationships, manage queries, and collaborate with Sales and Client Executives to deliver an optimal client experience.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of client-facing experience in financial services, strong analytical skills, and a background in derivatives or related markets.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant client facing experience.
• Experience in Financial Organization i.e. Investment Banking / Investment Management / Hedge Fund / Exchange.
• Market expertise in listed derivatives, OTC clearing/futures, prime brokerage, equities, etc.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the post-trade operational relationship for a portfolio of Clients.
• Ensure client queries are acknowledged, investigated, and resolved within expected timeframes in line with Citi standards.
• Provide operational solutions and remediations to eliminate/reduce client or Citi pain points and manual touchpoints.
• Provide clients with clear and concise updates relating to market events, delays, or technology issues.
• Partner with Sales and Client Executives to understand front-to-back needs and deliver the most optimal client experience.
• Attend regular client visits and engage in Citi-client operational relationship reviews to obtain insights on improvement areas.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Own and manage the post-trade Operational relationship for a portfolio of Clients

• Understand the product and regulatory environment impacting our client portfolio base along with the group procedures and CITI policy.

Client & Relationship Focus:

• Proven experience managing and expanding client relationships in financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp client needs, proactively address issues, and provide top-tier service in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including conducting client meetings and operational reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams (Sales, Client Executives, Prime Brokerage, Technology) for a seamless client experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze client data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency and client experience. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
