Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Singapore brokerage dealing, trading support or related client trading service functions.
• Knowledge of options, ETFs, fixed income or multi-asset products supporting platform expansion.
• Solid understanding of MAS-regulated brokerage requirements, trading controls and client protection.
• Experience in trading platform launches, localisation or feature enhancement, translating business needs into product outcomes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, technology, compliance, operations, client service and marketing.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and execution mindset in a fast-changing early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build-out of the dealing function in Singapore and launch core trading capabilities such as US options and margin financing.
• Own the front-office perspective across onboarding, funding, trading, client servicing and follow-through with back-end linkage.
• Partner with product, technology, compliance, operations and client service to define local requirements, test, release readiness and post-launch optimisation.
• Establish robust practices for dealing support, order handling, escalation and client enquiries to strengthen protection and responsiveness.
• Act as a point of contact across stakeholders and drive marketing and client acquisition plans, engaging potential clients including HNWI and corporate clients.
• Promote brokerage products including equities, mutual funds, structured products, derivatives and private funds.
• Participate in client meetings and roadshows to generate leads and deepen client relationships.

Job description

• Lead the build-out of the dealing function in Singapore, driving the launch of core trading capabilities such as US options and margin financing, and continuously optimising the stability, efficiency and client experience of the trading process.
• Own the front-office perspective across the end-to-end journey from onboarding and funding to trading, client servicing and operating follow-through, ensuring effective linkage with back-end execution processes.
• Partner with product, technology, compliance, operations and client service teams to define local requirements, support testing and release readiness, and drive post-launch optimisation with both regulatory and commercial practicality in mind.
• Establish robust practices for dealing support, order handling, incident escalation, client enquiries and service feedback to strengthen client protection and service responsiveness.
• Act as a point of contact across stakeholders, actively participating in the discussion and execution of marketing and client acquisition plans; proactively leverage own resources and networks to identify and engage potential clients, including high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
• Promote brokerage products including equities, mutual funds, structured products, derivatives, private funds and other offerings.
• Participate in client meetings, industry events and roadshows to generate leads, expand the client network and deepen client relationships.

Requirements | Must-have

• Hands-on experience in Singapore brokerage dealing, trading support or related client trading service functions, with strong understanding of equity and related securities workflows and client needs.
• Knowledge of options, ETFs, fixed income or broader multi-asset products that can support future platform expansion.
• Solid understanding of MAS-regulated brokerage requirements, including trading controls, client protection, process compliance and operational linkage across the trade lifecycle.
• Experience in trading platform launches, localisation, or digital brokerage feature enhancement, with ability to translate business needs into product and process outcomes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product, technology, compliance, operations, client service and marketing stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritisation and execution mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing early-stage environment and a proactive drive to build client relationships.

Requirements | Nice-to-have

• Relevant Singapore securities licensing, certification or local regulatory examination background.
• Certifications in CMFAS M1a, M5, M6 and M6a will be an added advantage.
• Experience in online account opening optimisation, client activation, trading campaign operations or client journey design.
• People leadership experience in coaching teams, setting service standards or managing front-line functions.
