Job summary

TES-AMM (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Technician I to receive, track, test, and securely sanitise IT assets. You will help prepare assets for reuse or disposal and support data centre decommissioning, all while adhering to data security and safety standards.

The role involves handling laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment, with emphasis on accurate documentation and compliance. Overtime may be required per MOM regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC / Diploma in IT, Electronics, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant IT manufacturing or repair experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Able to read English safety instructions and system interfaces.
• Overtime may be required per MOM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and log incoming IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment).
• Perform data sanitisation (software wiping, degaussing, or physical destruction).
• Test, diagnose, and grade IT assets.
• Disassemble and prepare assets for reuse, recycling, or disposal.
• Maintain inventory and chain-of-custody records.
• Support data centre decommissioning and asset removal following safety procedures.
• Label, pack, and prepare equipment for secure transport.
• Ensure data security and adhere to information security and safety procedures.
