Job summary

APPLAUSE TYRWHITT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Kitchen Crew member in Singapore to prepare and cook dishes to our menu standards.

You will support daily kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety and quality in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role requires relevant experience in a restaurant or F&B kitchen, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a restaurant or F&B kitchen environment preferred.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Possess a valid Food Safety Course certificate, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work areas.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef/Management.
