Job summary

Airwallex in Singapore is hiring its first SDET on the Risk Platform to define quality standards for risk‑critical systems and to build the automation, tooling and infrastructure that lets us ship changes quickly and safely.

You will own end‑to‑end test design, CI/CD integration, contract testing, and post‑release verification across onboarding, transaction scoring and jurisdiction rules, while mentoring engineers and enabling AI‑assisted testing.

Qualifications

• Experience building test frameworks beyond basic test cases.
• Experience testing large-scale distributed backends with APIs and integrations.
• Hands-on API and end-to-end automation with CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end and regression automation across risk flows and integration points.
• Establish stable test data and isolated environments for deterministic results.
• Own contract testing between Risk Platform and upstream/downstream services.
• Build jurisdiction-specific coverage for regional rules and thresholds.
• Define release-quality gates and post-release verification checks.
• Own testing and release acceptance for major client-facing projects.
• Mentor engineers on test design, automation, and quality practices.
