Job summary

VINAYAK ENGINEERING & SERVICES PTE. LTD. invites applications for the Resource Support Officer - Science Laboratory to support science lessons, enrichment programmes and competitions.

You will set up and clean laboratories, maintain materials and equipment, conduct stock-takes, ensure safe disposal of chemicals, and help keep storerooms organized. The role requires careful, independent work and teamwork in a school laboratory environment, with focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resources and materials for Science laboratory lessons, enrichment programmes and competitions .
• Set up and clean up laboratories before and after lessons.
• Maintain and label Science teaching materials, laboratory equipment and specimens.
• Conduct stock-takes and maintain inventory, breakage and replacement records.
• Ensure proper and safe disposal of chemicals and sharp waste.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping and organisation of Science laboratories and storerooms.
• Monitor laboratory safety and report incidents to the Science HOD.
• Replenish laboratory supplies and maintain first-aid boxes.
• Check safety equipment such as eyewash stations, emergency showers and fire extinguishers .
• Perform filing, equipment cleaning and other duties assigned by the HODs.
