Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD invites a facilities/ Laboratory Support staff to maintain the Science laboratories, prepare teaching resources, and support enrichment activities in a school setting at Singapore. You will handle stock, safety checks, waste disposal, and housekeeping while ensuring equipment is safe for lessons.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; prior science lab management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new IT skills.
• Experience in Science laboratory management or resource support in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching and learning support by preparing resources/materials for Science laboratory activities, enrichment programmes and competitions.
• Label and maintain records of existing and new Science teaching materials and laboratory apparatus.
• Ensure laboratory equipment, materials and specimens are in good working condition; assist stock takes and ordering replacements.
• Dispose of waste materials safely and dispose of chemical waste properly.
• Housekeeping of Science laboratories and storerooms to keep spaces clean and conducive for lessons.
• Ensure student safety in Science rooms; record and report incidents; maintain an incident log.
• Prepare first-aid supplies and ensure safety devices are functional (eye-wash stations, showers, extinguishers).
• Perform filing and general cleaning of equipment; assist with duties as required by HODs and Level Representatives.
