Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd is seeking a school lab technician to support classroom preparation, assist during experiments, and help maintain safety in the science lab. You will manage inventories, monitor stock, and collaborate with teachers to plan engaging activities.

The role includes supervising students, maintaining equipment, and supporting safety training and incident documentation as part of daily duties in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Familiar with safety SOPs and lab rules.
• Ability to supervise students during activities.
• Experience maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.
• Willingness to assist teachers in planning activities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize science equipment and materials before experiments or demonstrations.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel for repairs.
• Maintain an organized inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to staff.
• Enforce and promote adherence to safety SOPs in the science laboratory.
• Record and document incidents or accidents in the laboratory.
• Monitor students during laboratory activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with science teachers to plan and implement laboratory activities.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and staff regarding laboratory matters.
• Assist teachers in providing basic safety training to student leaders and new staff.
• Ensure the lab is kept clean and disposed of waste per procedures.
• Ad-hoc photographer duties at school events and safety drills.
