Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a School Laboratory Assistant to support daily science activities. You will set up and distribute chemicals, materials and apparatus for experiments and practical sessions.

You will clear up after labs, ensure proper disposal, check that equipment is in good condition, maintain safety, assist teachers, and help with inventory checks and ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with lab safety protocols.
• Ability to prepare and distribute chemicals for science sessions.
• Willingness to assist teachers and support lab operations.

Responsibilities

a) To set-up and distribute chemicals, materials and apparatuses

for science daily practical sessions, internal exams, GCE ‘O’

Level Exams and other science activities.

b) To clear up after every lab session by ensuring proper disposal of

chemicals / materials. Wipe and clean the tables and ensure that

the floor is clean.

c) To check that all apparatuses are in good working condition and

carry out minor repairs of apparatus and equipment when

necessary.

d) To maintain lab safety and provide assistance to teachers

handling accidents.

e) To take part in the checking of inventory stocks.

Any other ad-hoc duties as arranged and assigned by the school.
