Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Science Laboratory Assistant for a primary school in Yishun. The role involves preparing and maintaining materials, assisting with activities, and ensuring equipment is set up and stored properly.

Requires at least 2 years in a lab or technical support role, GCE O-Level, and proficiency in Excel. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 2:30pm, with weekends and public holidays off unless required.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or similar technical support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Organised, adaptable and able to multitask effectively.
• A good team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organise and maintain materials and equipment for educational activities.
• Assist with setting up activities, distributing materials and clearing equipment after use.
• Set up and operate equipment such as projectors, tablets and other instructional tools.
• Conduct inventory checks and update stock records.
• Organise, label and maintain the storage of materials and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions in designated areas.
• Assist with educational and enrichment activities.
• Support the loan, tracking and stocktaking of resources for various programmes.
• Assist with the care and maintenance of live specimens used for educational purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
