Job summary

The Authority is seeking a dedicated Science Laboratory Assistant to supportScience teaching and learning. You will prepare resources, assist with experiments, and help operate ICT and science equipment to ensure smooth classroom activities.

You will also handle annual inventory, organise storage, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to student enrichment activities during recess or school events. A proactive team player with good Excel skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 'O' level qualification.
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Science Laboratory Assistant/Laboratory Technician.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent team player who is organised, adaptable and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organise and ready resources for Science teaching and learning.
• Assist teachers in setting up experiments and activities, including distribution and clearing of resources.
• Set up and operate ICT and Science equipment (projector, iPads, dataloggers, microscopes).
• Conduct yearly inventory and stock taking of Science resources and equipment in the two laboratories and TinkerSpace; update inventory records.
