Job summary

EduCare Specialist Services invites applications for a Science Laboratory Assistant to support the school’s Science curriculum. You will maintain safe laboratories, ensure equipment readiness, and help with resource preparation for lessons and activities.

The role requires independent work, inventory management, and basic IT record-keeping skills to support teaching and safety compliance across the learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification with a pass in at least one Science subject.
• Qualification in a Science or Science-related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as a Science laboratory assistant and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Science laboratories and prep rooms to ensure smooth functioning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment for staff and students.
• Prepare, set up, and clear equipment and materials for practical lessons and experiments.
• Collaborate with HOD/Science and teachers to prepare resources for curriculum lessons and STEM activities.
• Provide support during practical lessons to facilitate effective learning.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and teaching resources in good working order through regular checks.
