Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on School Resources Assistant in Singapore to prepare science teaching resources, equipment and consumables for lessons and activities. You will support teachers in inquiry-based learning and school events while maintaining the safety and organisation of resource rooms.

The role also involves inventory management, procurement assistance, and general admin duties at the school. A friendly communicator with IT skills will fit well in this team.

Qualifications

• 3 or more GCE 'O' level passes including English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably with 1 year of work experience in school general administration.
• Proficient in IT skills such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up Science teaching resources, equipment, experiment kits and consumables for lessons and activities.
• Support teachers in inquiry-based learning, enrichment programmes and Science-related school events.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of Science resource and preparation rooms.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with procurement, replenishment, repairs and replacement of equipment.
• Ensure Science equipment and materials are properly maintained, stored and ready for use.
• Provide administrative and logistical support, including photocopying, laminating, binding, filing and record-keeping.
• Assist with student-related duties, including attendance, resource/equipment loans and returns, and lost-and-found items.
• Provide support at the General Office, including counter enquiries and sick bay duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD Science, School Leaders or authorised personnel.
