Job summary

SUNNYHILL ACE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Laboratory Support role to assist the Science and Mathematics departments with daily operations and resource handling.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, organizing resources, maintaining equipment, and assisting with media tasks as needed. Excellent English and basic MS Office skills are required; work hours are Mon–Thu 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and Fri 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with no weekend duties.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Laboratory Support: Prepare Science apparatus and materials for experiments before lessons and safely clear, clean, and keep them away after use.


• Resource Management: Neatly pack, organize, and label Mathematics and Science resources inside cupboards and laboratories.


• Equipment Maintenance: Perform simple, non-technical repairs and minor maintenance of learning aids and lab equipment (e.g., tightening fittings, replacing simple components).


• Resource Creation: Collaborate with teachers to build simple primary-level mathematical manipulatives, visual aids, or teaching props.


• Media & Ad-hoc Support: Help take photographs during departmental events and collaborate with teachers to record simple educational videos. Provide general administrative support as deployed.


• Annual Stocktaking: Assist HOD Science and HOD Mathematics with annual stocktaking, establishing inventory tracking, and managing desk copies for teachers.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)


• Fridays: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)


• No weekends or public holiday duties required.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience working in a Singapore school environment, particularly providing Science and Mathematics department or laboratory support, is highly preferred.


• Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in English (listening, understanding, speaking, reading, and writing).


• Digital Literacy: Proficient in basic MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Personal Attributes: Highly reliable, organized, and capable of working independently while pro-actively seeking clarity when instructions are ambiguous.
