Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive school support aide in Singapore for a 1-year term (Jan 2027–Dec 2027). You will prepare science apparatus, organize resources, and assist teachers with mathematics and science activities. The role includes basic administrative duties and stock-taking.

Candidates should have prior experience in a school setting, strong English skills, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Work is on-site with standard school hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment, especially in Mathematics or Science support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Science apparatus for experiments and return equipment to storage after lessons.
• Organise and maintain Mathematics and Science resources in designated cupboards and laboratories.
• Perform simple, non-technical repairs and minor maintenance of equipment and teaching aids.
• Prepare simple manipulatives and other materials for Mathematics and Science programmes with teachers.
• Support photography and video recording for departmental programmes and teaching resources.
• Assist with recess activities preparation for Mathematics and Science.
• Provide administrative support as assigned by the school.
• Assist with stock lists and annual stocktaking.
• Coordinate return and collection of Mathematics and Science desk copies from teachers.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform simple, non-technical repairs and minor maintenance of equipment, teaching aids and resource materials.
• Work with teachers to prepare simple manipulatives and other materials for Mathematics and Science programmes.
• Support photography and video recording for departmental programmes, activities and teaching resources.
• Assist the Mathematics and Science Departments with the preparation of recess activities.
• Provide administrative support as assigned by the school.
• Assist with developing and maintaining stock lists and conducting annual stocktaking.
• Coordinate the return and collection of Mathematics and Science desk copies from teachers.

Job Requirements

• Experience working in a school environment, particularly in providing Mathematics or Science-related support, is preferred.
• Good command of English, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently and achieve assigned tasks and goals.
• Proactive in seeking clarification when required.

Duration/Working Hours:

1 year - opt to extend 1 year (Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
Services are not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
When needed to support school operational needs, the Authority may reduce the lunch hour to half an hour with end time correspondingly adjusted or request for start time to be changed.
