Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare Science apparatus for experiments and return equipment to storage after lessons.
• Organise and maintain Mathematics and Science resources in designated cupboards and laboratories.
• Perform simple, non-technical repairs and minor maintenance of equipment, teaching aids and resources.
• Work with teachers to prepare simple manipulatives and other materials for Mathematics and Science programmes.
• Support photography and video recording for departmental programmes and teaching resources.
• Assist the Departments with preparation of recess activities.
• Provide administrative support as assigned by the school.
• Assist with developing and maintaining stock lists and conducting annual stocktaking.
• Coordinate return and collection of Mathematics and Science desk copies from teachers.

Science and Mathematics Assistant (Primary School – Punggol) x1

Monthly Salary: $2,400

Contract Period: January–December 2027 (12 months)

Contract Extension: Option to extend for another 12 months

Working Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–5:00pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Friday: 7:30am–4:30pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)

Working Days: Monday–Friday

Rest Days: Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Lunch breaks may be reduced to 30 minutes, with the end time adjusted accordingly, or starting times may be changed to meet operational requirements.
