Job summary

MINDSG LTD is seeking a Job Coach at Fernvale Gardens School to coordinate and support students' school-to-work transitions through vocational preparation, job placement, and ongoing employment support.

You will work with Teachers and AHPs to prepare students for job attachments, identify opportunities, and provide ongoing guidance to ensure successful work experiences with families and employers involved.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years working experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support school-to-work transition through vocational preparation and job placement.
• Work with Teachers and AHPs to prepare students for attachments and placements.
• Identify and provide support to develop students' confidence and interest in the job.
• Source and arrange job attachments (school, community, industrial).
• Provide job matching and evaluate job site suitability.
• Prepare students for attachments and post-attachment support.
• Negotiate employment terms with employers after attachments when applicable.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, community partners and employers to support work readiness.
