Job summary

SunnyHill Ace Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a dedicated Science Lab Assistant to support daily lab operations and hands-on science education. You will prep materials, assist teachers, manage inventory, and enforce safety during practical lessons.

You will also help maintain the school garden and the automated hydroponics system, aligning with a daily 7:30am–2:00pm schedule (Mon–Fri) and standby on designated school holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: GCE 'O' Level certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years as Science Lab Assistant in a Singapore school.
• Skills: Knowledge of primary school science lab apparatus, safety protocols, and basic logging.

Responsibilities

• Experiment preparation: ready resources, apparatus and equipment for classroom experiments.
• Teacher support: assist teachers with resource management and safety during practical lessons.

• Core Responsibilities:
  • Experiment Preparation: Prepare science resources, apparatus, and equipment for classroom lesson experiments.
  • Teacher Support: Assist teachers with resource management and safety enforcement during practical lessons.
  • Inventory & Safety: Track laboratory usage, conduct strict safety checks, maintain stock levels, and update inventory logs.
  • Green Hub Support: Assist in maintaining the school garden and the automated hydroponics system.
• Working Hours & Schedule:
  • Daily Shift: Mondays to Fridays, 7:30am to 2:00pm (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
  • School Holidays: Standby required for designated days (2 days in March/September, 6 days in June/December).
  • Rest Days: Off on weekends, gazetted public holidays, and standard school closures.
