Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking security personnel to patrol school premises in pre-dawn and evening shifts, Monday to Friday, with breaks between duties and non-negotiable hours. Location in Toa Payoh and occasional overtime after 8pm may occur.

Candidates with primary education and good communication skills are preferred; experience in a school setting is an added advantage. The contract runs for 12 months from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Qualifications

• At least primary school education with good verbal and communication skills.
• Able to perform duties involving frequent walking, movement, carrying and lifting of objects.
• Candidates with at least 3 years of experience working in a school environment will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the school during pre-dawn hours from 4am to 6am, Mon to Fri.
• Patrol after daily closing from 6pm to 8pm, Mon to Fri.
• Occasional overtime duties beyond 8pm.
• Potential duty on some Saturdays when required.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as directed by school leadership.

• Patrol the school after closing from 6pm to 8pm on normal school days Mon to Fri. Personnel may return home to rest after that.
• Overtime duties past 8pm are required on occasion.
• Perform similar duties as above on Saturdays (when required).
• Any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the school’s leadership.

• Duties on some Saturdays at odd hours may be needed when directed.
• Service is generally not required on Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
• Personnel may return home to rest after the morning and evening patrol duties.
