Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations before classes; clean and sanitise kitchen equipment and surfaces
• Assist students with basic food preparation techniques; help monitor food safety and hygiene practices; provide support to the teacher(s) as needed
• Maintain kitchen appliances and tools; report any equipment malfunctions or needs for repair; assist in inventory management of kitchen equipment
• Properly store ingredients and leftovers; monitor expiration dates and food quality; assist in rotating stock to minimise waste
• Properly dispose of food waste and manage recycling and composting efforts
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
