Job summary

ESTIMA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (Scaffolding Operations) to assist the Project Manager in managing scaffolding operations and site teams for PSA, Oil & Gas and industrial projects. You will oversee a scaffolding team, supervise up to 100 workers, and coordinate with clients and safety teams.

Based mainly on site, the role requires strong leadership, planning, and execution of weekly reports and 4-week look-ahead schedules, with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years scaffolding experience.
• PSA experience required.
• Oil & Gas experience required.
• Experience with confined space and shutdown/turnaround activities.
• Experience managing teams up to 100 workers.
• Scaffold Supervisor certification.
• Safety Coordinator certification.
• Ability to manage productivity, manpower and materials.
• Ability to prepare weekly reports and 4-week look-ahead schedules.
• Strong leadership, planning and coordination skills.
• Willing to work mainly in the field with extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM to oversee and manage the scaffolding team and site operations.
• Supervise scaffold supervisors, erectors and workers, including teams of up to 100 workers.
• Plan manpower, materials and daily work activities.
• Monitor productivity, safety, quality and work progress for each team.
• Prepare weekly reports for top management on manpower, productivity, safety and progress.
• Prepare 4-week look-ahead schedules for manpower and material requirements.
• Forecast manpower and material needs to support upcoming works.
• Support shutdown and turnaround activities, including confined-space and high-risk work.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers and safety teams.
• Ensure all scaffolding works are carried out safely and according to site requirements.
• Work mainly on site and provide hands-on supervision and support.
