Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Satellite Planning Engineer in Singapore to drive strategic scenario and capital planning analyses, collaborating with IE, SIC, NPI, and Finance to align on fab loading, capacity, and capex.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
2-3 years in semiconductor capacity planning or strategic planning preferred.
Proficiency in AI-enabled analytics and productivity tools to enhance planning efficiency.
Ability to apply AI/IE methodologies to optimize loading strategies and capital allocation.
Experience building AI-assisted automation, dashboards, and reporting to improve forecast accuracy.

Responsibilities

Apply optimization concepts to ensure optimal loading across horizon while meeting targets.
Model capacity thresholds to support current and future technology; analyze scenarios.
Plan capacity for future products; quantify impact on capital spend using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Define and analyze Cost of Transition (CoT) for technode and budget vs actual capex.
Coordinate with stakeholders to update planning parameters for quarterly business plan.
Create and maintain Satellite SharePoint; develop automation to streamline planning processes.
Develop dashboards/reports to analyze site capital expenditure and forecast accuracy.
