Satair Pte Ltd is hiring a seasoned Materials Planner to maximise material availability while optimising inventory investment across the IMS network. The role uses customer data and Airbus data products to refine forecasting accuracy and collaborates with customer maintenance functions and MRO providers.

You will gather and analyse data, coordinate with multiple departments, and support integration of new part-numbers. A proactive, results-driven mindset is essential.

Formación

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aerospace or relevant working experience.
• Minimum 3 years working experience.
• Understanding aviation business specifically in spares supply chain management.
• Technical and process oriented with ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Ability to understand customer to develop and propose creative solutions.
• Flexible, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and handle unexpected issues.
• Strong knowledge of data analysing applications such as databases and Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP R/3 would be advantageous.
• Diplomatic sense and open ‘out-of-silo’ mindset.
• Ability to build relations across functions and stakeholders.
• Strong team player with proactive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure parts availability at the time of need while optimising inventory levels, investment, and transportation costs.
• Utilise customer statistical and technical information to improve forecast accuracy across the IMS network.
• Support refinement of IMS forecast and replenishment plan through customer data analysis.
• Engage with customer maintenance planning and MRO providers for inputs to IMS forecasts.
• Gather data from Airbus data products and coordinate with other departments to ensure data quality.
• Structure and make transparent all relevant information for efficient IMS usage.
• Collaborate with Satair Solutions Planning to enhance base statistical forecasts.
• Consider customer fleet development plans to ensure adequate stock.
• Launch actions to integrate new part-numbers into the service.
• Provide timely, high quality responses to customer and internal requests.
• Monitor KPIs related to material order activity.
• Assist Delivery Manager to coordinate reports and attend customer meetings.
• Participate in IMS local team to achieve targets.
• Adhere to Ethics & Compliance guidelines.

Job Objectives

• Maximize material availability while optimizing inventory investment and cost saving across the IMS network.
• Leverage technical customer data, fleet development plans, and Airbus data products to continuously refine forecasting accuracy
• Build collaborative partnerships with customer maintenance functions, optimize inventory levels to meet contractual SLA and foster continuous process improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure parts availability at the time of need while optimising inventory levels, investment, and transportation costs.
• Ensure utilisation of all available customer statistical and technical information to continuously improve planning forecast accuracy across the IMS network.
• Support the refinement of the IMS forecast and replenishment plan through interrogation of customer technical data and maintenance plans.
• Establish and leverage a relationship with the customers maintenance planning function and MRO provider in order to gain customer-specific inputs to enhance IMS forecast accuracy.
• Gather relevant data from Airbus data products and proactively link with other Airbus departments to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Structure and make transparent all relevant information for efficient usage throughout the IMS network.
• Collaborate with the Satair Solutions Planning function to support the enhancement of base statistical forecasts.
• Consider customer fleet development plan to ensure adequate stock.
• Launch required actions to integrate new part-numbers into the service.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality responses to customer and internal requests.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material order activity.
• Assist the Solutions Delivery Manager to coordinate and prepare reports on operational topics and participate in customer meetings as required.
• Participate actively as part of the IMS local team to fulfil overall targets.
• Comply with Satair’s mission, values, Quality Management procedures, and Ethics & Compliance guidelines.
• Comment/advise on unsatisfactory situations within the organization, propose potential solutions for improvements, and contribute towards a positive and inspiring working environment with a growth mindset.
