Responsibilities

• Understand user needs through a user-centric approach and translate requirements into functional designs
• Design sustainable SAP IBP, PP, and MM solutions from concept to launch, aligned with enterprise architecture and product vision
• Maintain strong product knowledge and documentation across Digital Planning platforms
• Analyse end-to-end business processes and assess impacts on other products or platforms
• Challenge business requirements and recommend alternative, value-added solutions with clear risk and effort assessments
• Conduct detailed functional analysis with key users and formalize process design using Design Thinking
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and collaborate with UI designers, developers, and technical experts to build prototypes or mockups
• Lead validation loops with business stakeholders and refine specifications based on feedback
• Coordinate across development teams and cross-functional product owners during solution build
• Ensure solution quality by designing and executing test scenarios, including regression testing
• Raise defects, track resolution, and ensure testing completeness
• Drive user adoption through user guides, procedures, training, UAT planning/execution, rollout, and handover to product support
• Collaborate with users and product managers to define optimal user experiences, maintaining personas, process maps, and user journeys
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and usability tests to validate or improve solution design
• Maintain high visibility of business processes, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
• Proactively propose product upgrades and enhancements to boost user experience and operational efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive product documentation including user guides and functional specifications
• Support change request management, backlog prioritisation, and long-term consistency of the product in line with architectural standards
• Provide expertise for innovation projects, identifying MVPs and contributing to business process and data discussions
