Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced SAP Finance application support analyst (S/4HANA) to provide Level 2 support for Finance and Operations services, handling incidents, changes, and deployments while ensuring alignment with governance and standards.

You will review vendor deliverables, participate in UAT, and coordinate with cross-functional teams and auditors to ensure accurate documentation and compliant releases.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• SAP Finance certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of SAP Finance application support (S/4HANA).
• FICO modules familiarity: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for SAP Finance/Operations applications via ITSM (incidents, requests, changes, problems, releases).
• Manage enhancements and investigations to ensure root cause resolution and permanent fixes.
• Review vendor deliverables for alignment with Finance/Operations requirements and standards.
• Lead UAT activities for Finance/Operation changes, including test case prep and deployment validation.
• Collaborate with Finance Support Lead, teams, and vendors on upgrades, release testing, and cross-functional enhancements.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, test scripts, and knowledge artefacts for Finance support.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for Finance and Operations applications through ITSM processes (incidents, service requests, changes, problems, releases).
• Manage enhancements and problem investigations, ensuring root cause resolution and permanent fixes.
• Review vendor deliverables, including functional designs, configurations, and fixes, to ensure alignment with Finance/Operation requirements and applicable organisational standards.
• Manage UAT activities for Finance/Operation changes, including test case preparation, user coordination, and deployment validation.
• Collaborate with the Finance Support Lead, other analysts, relevant internal teams, and vendors on upgrades, release testing, and cross-functional enhancements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, test scripts, and knowledge-sharing artefacts for Finance support.
• Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and statutory requirements in all Finance system activities.
• Engage with Finance leadership, Finance teams, Operations teams, and auditors to align solutions and resolve issues.
• Participate in team training and cross-learning sessions to build redundancy and shared expertise.

Minimum Years of Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in SAP Finance application support (S/4HANA).
• Primary knowledge in FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO), with ability to cross-cover other Finance and Operations areas.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release management).

Minimum Education / Other Technical / Professional Qualification Level

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent.
• SAP Finance certifications preferred.
