Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support month-end close, cost controls and financial reporting. The role involves close collaboration with various business units and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP ERP ECC. This is a full-time position based in Bedok, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and at least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Meticulous, able to resolve issues independently.
• Strong organizational, planning and interpersonal communication skills.
• Team player with business acumen and awareness of business strategies.
• Initiative, responsive and able to articulate work areas.
• Experience with SAP ERP ECC system.
• Mature, committed with positive work attributes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage sales’ cost activities and provisioning to ensure accuracy.
• Handle leasing and cost monitoring for service warranties.
• Involve in month end closing processes and ensure smooth closing activities.
• Manage overhead cost allocations and cross charging.
• Fixed costs analysis, various cost reports and cashflows on costs.
• Prepare, track and analyze Balance Sheet items and report.
• Support Forecast and Business Plan activities.
• Prepare and support Wings reporting and annual audits.
• Involve in GST reporting and ensure timely submission.
• Participate in annual tax preparations and apply tax treatments.
• Manage and control Balance Sheet schedules and journals.
• Ensure internal controls per policies and compliance.
• Manage business control and processes per Internal Approving Rule (IAR).
• Be part of job rotation to be versatile within the team.
• Handle any other ad hoc tasks or system projects.
