Job summary

IBM SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a highly experienced Complex SI SAP Project Manager to deliver SAP implementations, migrations and S/4HANA upgrades. You will lead client engagements, drive cloud migration initiatives (RISE) and ensure delivery on time, budget and quality.

You will manage global delivery resources, vendors and a diverse project team, report progress to stakeholders, and uphold IBM's standards for governance, risk management and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP implementation, migration and upgrade projects.
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA migrations and cloud transitions.
• Proven ability to manage complex SAP programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.

About the Job:

• Be responsible for successful delivery of IBM's largest and most complex SAP Implementation, System Integration and Migration / Modernization client commitments.
• Possess through the experience and understanding on SAP Implementation, Migration, S/4 HANA Upgrade, Cloud migration, RISE Implementation and migration.
• Manage client engagements, ensuring delivery of SAP solutions for complex IT, business and client requirements.
• Responsible to understand the SAP solution, architecture and implementation methodology.
• Responsible for leading a project team in delivering a SAP solution to the client with overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
• Be responsible for managing all project resources, including Global Delivery resources, vendors and subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the client. They provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client.
• Manages the project work plan and holds the team and project resources accountable to variances in budget and hours.
• Possess thorough understanding of SAP solution estimation, SOW, letters of agreement, master service agreements, staffing model, average bill rates and cost structure by level.
• Oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.
• Ensures requirements for internal technology projects align to operational standards. Develops alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate.

About You:

• Experience as a Complex SI Project Management Professional
• Experience in SAP Implementation, Migration and Upgrade.
• Strong experience in Cloud migration (RISE)
• Experience in managing custom application development projects.
• Strong experience in charge of the start to finish delivery of projects
• Accountable for delivery of projects of a high quality, within the budget and agreed timeline
• Plan and manage project scope, schedules and resources on the project
• Identify, assess and manage the risks of the project and take appropriate actions
• Effectively manage the diverse team of stake holders

Desired Background:

• At least 10-year experience with SAP Implementation, Migration Services, Application Modernization.
• Strong experience managing complex SAP program, integrated test and QA projects
• Strong communication, analytical skills and a customer service orientation
• Extensive project management experience and proven skill to ensure that project objectives and goals are met within agreed upon time, scope, resource, budget and quality requirements
• Supports the financial performance of assigned business areas.
• Report and communicate project successes, risks, and status to leadership and stakeholders
• Enforces compliance of project management methodology and deliverables
• Experience directing the work of others and coordinate diverse cross functional teams
