Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous Sample Handler to support processing of clinical samples from Europe and the United States. The role emphasizes accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced lab environment.

Training will be provided and the successful candidate will work Tuesday to Saturday in a full-time/contract setting within a global clinical research context.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree, or relevant qualification in Life Sciences or related fields.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly accurate in handling data and samples.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willing to work Tuesday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process clinical research samples from Europe and the United States.
• Perform sample accessioning, sorting, labeling, and tracking according to SOPs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and data entry within laboratory systems.
• Maintain sample integrity and chain of custody throughout handling.
• Identify and elevate discrepancies, missing information, or damaged samples.
• Support storage, shipment preparation, and inventory management activities.
• Follow quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process clinical research samples from Europe and the United States

• Perform sample accessioning, sorting, labeling, and tracking according to standard operating procedures

• Ensure accurate documentation and data entry within laboratory systems

• Maintain sample integrity and chain of custody throughout the handling process

• Identify and elevate discrepancies, missing information, or damaged samples

• Support storage, shipment preparation, and inventory management activities

• Follow quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, or relevant qualification in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Laboratory Technology, or related disciplines

• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly accurate in handling data and samples

• Efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Comfortable working Tuesday to Saturday to support global operations

• Prior laboratory or sample handling experience is advantageous but not required

• Training will be provided for suitable candidates
