Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Salesforce Functional Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and enhancement of Salesforce solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Salesforce functional consulting or business analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and CRM processes.
• Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis and design.
• Experience creating user stories, functional specifications, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security and integrations.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production releases.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional Lead to lead the functional design, implementation, and enhancement of Salesforce solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, Salesforce developers, and architects to understand business needs and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and implementation of Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and pain points.
• Conduct requirements gathering, workshops, gap analysis, and business process analysis.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements and user stories.
• Define Salesforce solution approaches using standard platform capabilities wherever appropriate.
• Work with Salesforce Technical Leads and Architects to ensure functional requirements are technically feasible.
• Create Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and validate Salesforce functionality, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, and reports.
• Support Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations and enhancements.
• Coordinate with developers for custom functionality, integrations, and complex Salesforce requirements.
• Define and manage business rules, workflows, approval processes, and data requirements.
• Support data migration, data cleansing, and data validation activities.
• Work closely with QA teams to prepare test scenarios, test cases, and UAT plans.
• Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production releases.
• Analyze and resolve functional issues during testing and production.
• Manage requirement changes and assess their impact on existing Salesforce processes.
• Conduct user training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Prepare functional documentation, process documentation, and user guides.
• Mentor functional consultants and support the team in delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce Functional Consulting / Business Analysis.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and CRM business processes.
• Hands‑on functional experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Experience creating user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, record types, page layouts, flows, validation rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
• Experience working with Salesforce developers and technical architects on customizations and integrations.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security, sharing, and integration concepts.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect management, and production releases.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
• Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst is an advantage.
• Experience with Experience Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Salesforce Industries is a plus.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise CRM transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
