Job description

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a unique blend of modern innovation and legacy expertise. You will manage a team of up to 5 developers, overseeing the architectural integrity of our platform, including the maintenance of Salesforce Classic environments and their strategic transition/coexistence with Lightning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture & Solution Design
    • Hybrid Environment Management: Own the design and maintenance of solutions within both Salesforce Classic and Lightning.
    • Technical Discovery: Lead workshops to define business requirements and translate them into a comprehensive technical roadmap.
    • Integration & Data: Define and lead strategies for data migration and real-time API-based integrations.
    • Documentation: Produce high-quality technical design documents, justifying choices for both modern and legacy frameworks.
  • Technical Leadership & Delivery
    • Hands-on Development: Build and maintain complex Visualforce pages, Apex Controllers, and Triggers (Classic) alongside modern Lightning Web Components (LWC).
    • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of up to 5 Salesforce Developers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to best practices.
    • Code Governance: Conduct rigorous code reviews, ensuring legacy code is optimized and modern code is scalable.
    • Release Management: Act as the Release Manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Strategic Advisory: Recommend when to stay in Classic vs. migrate to Lightning based on business impact and technical debt.
    • Backlog Refinement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure user stories are technically sound and acceptance criteria are met.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of IT experience, with a heavy focus on end-to-end Salesforce implementations.
  • Classic & Lightning Mastery: Proven experience working with Salesforce Classic and modern Lightning frameworks.
  • Technical Leadership: Experience leading a team of at least 5 developers (onshore or offshore).

  • Methodology: Proven experience delivering solutions via Agile/Scrum.
  • Education & Certifications:
