Job summary

Samsonite Group APAC & Middle East in Singapore seeks a Merchandiser to drive store coverage and promote products across assigned retail outlets. You will manage stock orders, replenish merchandise, and ensure visually appealing displays per brand standards.

The role requires good interpersonal skills, negotiation ability, and a proactive, customer-oriented mindset. You will collaborate with store personnel to optimize daily operations and expand product presence.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in merchandising, retail sales, or FMCG merchandising.
• Experience in department store merchandising or consumer products is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets through effective customer engagement and product promotion.
• Visit assigned retail outlets to ensure optimal store coverage.
• Write and submit stock orders promptly to ensure timely replenishment and maintain inventory levels.
• Replenish merchandise and ensure products are consistently available for customers.
• Arrange and maintain attractive, organized product displays per merchandising standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to facilitate operations.
• Promote products at retail counters to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to open additional counters or promotional spaces to expand presence.
• Increase display space for luggage and related products through merchandising initiatives.
• Negotiate with store management to secure permanent counter placements and visibility.
• Monitor stock levels, product movement, and competitor activities, providing feedback to management.
• Ensure counters and displays are clean and aligned with brand image.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
