Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or business development in construction/facade industries.
• Proven track record in business development, client acquisition and negotiations.
• Good understanding of Singapore's construction industry, tendering procedures and project procurement.
• Established networks with developers, architects and main contractors is advantageous.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and understand project requirements.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead business development initiatives, expand our client network and drive sustainable sales growth in Singapore's construction and façade industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth, revenue targets and market expansion objectives.

• Identify, evaluate and secure new business opportunities within the construction, façade, curtain wall and architectural building materials industries.

• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with developers, architects, consultants, main contractors and other key industry stakeholders.

• Proactively identify upcoming construction projects, tender opportunities and potential business partnerships.

• Lead client meetings, business presentations and commercial negotiations to secure new projects and contracts.

• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion of business opportunities.

Tender Management & Commercial Negotiation

• Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders, quotations, proposals and commercial documentation.

• Review project requirements, tender specifications and architectural drawings to evaluate project opportunities.

• Coordinate with internal design, engineering, estimation, procurement and project teams to develop competitive proposals.

• Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations and contract negotiations with clients.

• Monitor tender outcomes, evaluate commercial risks and recommend strategies to improve tender success rates.

• Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, tender submissions and project award opportunities.

Marketing & Client Relationship Management

• Develop and execute marketing initiatives to strengthen the company's brand awareness and market presence.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and strategic business partners.

• Identify market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities within the construction and façade sectors.

• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking sessions and business meetings.

• Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and propose appropriate façade solutions.

• Explore new markets, business channels and strategic partnerships to support long-term business growth.

Sales Performance & Management

• Establish sales targets, business development plans and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Monitor sales performance, project pipelines, revenue forecasts and business development activities.

• Prepare regular sales reports, market analyses and business forecasts for management review.

• Provide guidance and support to sales team members to improve overall sales effectiveness.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment between business development objectives and project delivery capabilities.

• Provide strategic recommendations to management on market positioning, pricing and business expansion.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or business development, preferably within the construction, façade or architectural building materials industry.

• Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, commercial negotiations and securing construction-related projects.

• Good understanding of Singapore's construction industry, tendering procedures and project procurement processes.

• Experience in the façade, curtain wall, aluminum, glass or architectural building materials industry is highly advantageous.

• Established business networks with developers, architects, consultants and main contractors will be a strong advantage.

• Ability to understand architectural drawings, technical specifications and construction project requirements.

• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation and relationship management skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented and capable of working independently to achieve business targets.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
