Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored IT solutions that meet customer needs. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep knowledge of IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT solutions and services sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Understand client requirements and propose relevant IT solutions (hardware, software, cloud, networking, managed services, etc.).
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and group targets.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and present reports to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- Proven track record of 5–8 years in IT sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions such as cloud services, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts.
- Strong business acumen with experience in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
Preferred
- Existing network of corporate clients in the IT industry.
- Familiarity with IT service models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, managed services).
- Professional certifications in sales or IT (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) will be an advantage.
