Job summary

LED LIGHTING PTE. LTD.

is seeking a Sales Manager to build and run the commercial engine for our Singapore business. You will carry your own book of strategic accounts, coach the team's daily activity and pipeline discipline, and act as a thinking partner to the Country Manager on where the business should focus next: which segments to double down on, where margins need to shift, and where to test new channels.

Responsibilities

• Turn top-down direction (pricing, targets) into concrete commercial tasks for the team to execute.
• Run daily standups and drive activity levels until benchmark per rep is established.
• Track and improve conversion rates; report what’s working and what isn’t.
• Carry your own book, focused on strategic or harder-to-crack accounts.
• Stay close to customers to spot shifts in segments, price resistance, and competitor actions.
• Regular check-ins to align on market direction and share field insights.

You will carry your own book of strategic accounts, coach the team's daily activity and pipeline discipline, and act as a thinking partner to the Country Manager on where the business should focus next: which segments to double down on, where margins need to shift, and where to test new channels.

Key responsibilities

• Turn top-down direction (pricing, margin targets, company priorities) into concrete commercial to-dos the team can execute
• Run daily standups and drive activity levels (calls, visits, conversations) until we've established the right benchmark per rep
• Track and improve conversion rates; report on what's working and what isn't
• Carry your own book, focused on strategic or harder-to-crack accounts
• Stay close enough to customers on the ground to spot shifts early: which segments are heating up, where price resistance is building, what competitors are doing
• Regular check-ins (every few days) to stay aligned on market direction, share what you're seeing on the ground, and keep building together

About you

• Strong commercial acumen: comfortable reasoning about margin, segment attractiveness, and trade-offs, not just closing deals
• A genuine player-coach, someone who wants to keep selling, not a manager looking to get out of the field
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team
