Farmio SG Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Manager in Singapore to build and run the commercial engine for the Singapore business. You will carry your own book of strategic accounts, coach the team’s daily activity and pipeline discipline, and advise the Country Manager on where to focus next across segments and channels.
You will stay close to customers, shape market approach as we scale, and drive CRM discipline, with a genuine focus on selling while coaching others.
Farmio is looking for a Sales Manager to build and run the commercial engine for our Singapore business. This is not a pure people-management role. You will carry your own book of strategic accounts, coach the team's daily activity and pipeline discipline, and act as a thinking partner to the Country Manager on where the business should focus next: which segments to double down on, where margins need to shift, and where to test new channels.
Work directly with the Country Manager on high-level commercial trade-offs and where to focus the business next
Turn top-down direction (pricing, margin targets, company priorities) into concrete commercial to-dos the team can execute
Help shape how Farmio approaches the market as we scale, bringing structure to areas that are still evolving
Run daily standups and drive activity levels (calls, visits, conversations) until we've established the right benchmark per rep
Own pipeline hygiene and deal-stage discipline across the team's CRM
Track and improve conversion rates; report on what's working and what isn't
Carry your own book, focused on strategic or harder-to-crack accounts
Stay close enough to customers on the ground to spot shifts early: which segments are heating up, where price resistance is building, what competitors are doing
Regular check-ins (every few days) to stay aligned on market direction, share what you're seeing on the ground, and keep building together
Strong commercial acumen: comfortable reasoning about margin, segment attractiveness, and trade-offs, not just closing deals
A genuine player-coach, someone who wants to keep selling, not a manager looking to get out of the field
Experience in FMCG, F&B, or B2B distribution in Singapore is a strong plus
Process-minded: able to build structure (activity metrics, CRM discipline, conversion tracking) where none currently exists
Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team
