Job summary

Celanese in Singapore is seeking a customer-focused sales specialist to develop tailored solutions with customers, leveraging its plastics and chemical know-how.

You will drive market awareness in SEA, identify opportunities with OEMs and molders, and translate strategy into concrete sales activities. English proficiency is mandatory, and knowledge of JP/ CN is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Writing and speaking in English is mandatory.
• Experience in plastics (chemicals) required.
• Japanese or Chinese language would be an advantage.
• Automotive industry experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to develop a tailored solution.
• Drive market awareness of products in SEA and create opportunities with potential accounts.
• Implement segment strategy and translate into sales by working with customers.
• Support Sales Team with providing technical skills and market knowledge.
• Drive and deliver the result of team numbers set by Commercial Director.
• Cover the full product portfolio with focus on premium products and promote sale to OEMs/tier and molders.
• More direct servicing and contact with end-user accounts and molders.
• Deepen and expand relationships with key accounts.
• Drive opportunity creation in all segments focusing on Automotive applications within SEA.

Job Description and Responsibility:

1. Ability to work with customers to develop a tailored solution
2. Drive market awareness of company's products in SEA and create opportunities with potential accounts
3. Implement segment strategy and translate into sales by working with customers
4. Support Sales Team with providing technical skills and market knowledge and reach
5. Drive and deliver the result of team numbers set by Commercial Director
6. Cover the full product portfolio spectrum with focus on growing premium products like in where there are growth opportunities , hence strong drive to directly contact OEMs/tier and molders in order to promote sale of products and be top of mind at customers’ NPDs, solution developments.
7. More direct servicing and contact points of end user accounts and molders
8. Deepening and expand relationships with key accounts
9. Drive opportunity creations in all segments focusing on Automotive applications within SEA

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Writing and speaking in English is mandatory, Experience of working in plastics (chemicals)
• Availability of Foreign Language Japanese or Chinese would be considered as an advantage
• Experiences in Auto industry also preferable
