Job summary

ASTAR Packaging PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Sales professional to drive growth for its flexible packaging materials in Singapore and across South East Asia. You will identify prospects, build strong client relationships, and execute sales strategies in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will develop market insights, manage key accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets, while ensuring exceptional service and timely quotations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business/Marketing/Food Science or Packaging.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in packaging, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Possess a Class 3 driving license for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Promote ASTAR’s flexible packaging materials in Singapore and South East Asia to expand market presence.
• Conduct market research, prospecting, and networking to identify potential clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers for long-term growth.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to ensure timely deal closures.
• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Summary

Drive sales growth by promoting ASTAR’s flexible packaging materials locally and regionally. Identify prospects, build strong client relationships, and execute sales strategies to exceed targets in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and generate sales of ASTAR’s flexible packaging materials in Singapore and South East Asia to expand market presence
• Conduct market research, prospecting, and networking to identify and source potential clients
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to foster long-term business growth
• Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to ensure timely deal closures and maximize revenue
• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a Class 3 driving license to support client visits and business development activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or Packaging
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or related industries
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer data
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with diverse clients

• Location: North of Singapore
• Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
