Job summary

United Singapore Builders Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Safety Manager to lead on-site safety efforts for LTA project operations. You will oversee the safety team, coordinate weekly HSE meetings with clients and management, and drive compliance with legal health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include conducting annual safety audits, developing policies, training staff, and investigating incidents to prevent recurrence, while maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as safety manager.
• Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
• Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.
• Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Minimum 8 years experience in Construction industry prefer with LTA project background.
• Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.

• Handle & manage all authority ad hoc spot check eg: MOM/SCDF/NEA.
• Attend and organize all weekly HSE coordination meetings with clients & higher management.
• Attend weekly progress meetings.
• Be responsible for safety yearly audit.
• Ensure safety and health are in place on site.
• Develop and execute health and safety plans per legal guidelines.
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.

• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle workers’ compensation claims.
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
• Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.

Main Contractor for LTA Project seeking for theaboveposition.

5 days + Alt Saturday working days per week
