Job summary

Progressive Builders Private Limited is seeking a seasoned Workplace Safety and Health Officer to lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives on our construction sites in Singapore. You will collaborate with project teams and contractors to control hazards and ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, and EHS regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Specialist Diploma in WSH or MOM certificates, is a registered WSHO, and has 5+ years of construction experience with HIP/HDB BTO projects,

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety And Health or MOM recognized certificates.
• Registered Workplace Safety And Health Officer.
• At least 5 years' experience as Workplace Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry.
• Experience in HIP / HDB BTO projects.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all works relating to safety, health and environmental matters on the project.
• Work with project team and contractors to mitigate high risk hazards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory environmental and health requirements on site.
• Identify unsafe conditions and practices at the worksite.
• Implement and monitor EHS management system on site.
• Prepare and maintain statutory reports and documentation for EHS issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
• Liaise with authorities on environmental and safety issues.
• Support in-house EHS initiatives.
