Job summary

Steeltech Industries Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support WSH compliance on our construction sites in Singapore. The role involves conducting toolbox talks, training, and maintaining safety records while ensuring all personnel follow procedures.

Your duties include incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, and assisting with ISO audit documentation. Suitable candidates will have Level B certification and 2+ years in construction, with steelwork experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Safety Coordinator's Course certificate or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B).
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Building and Construction.
• Experience in structural steelwork environment is an advantage.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Able to work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist WSH Manager to ensure worksite compliance with Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety trainings; prepare and maintain safety records.

• Ensure supervisors, workers and subcontractors follow safe work procedures and safety compliances on site.
• Ensure lifting gears, appliances, and electrical equipment are inspected and records kept up to date.
• Assist Safety Officer/Manager with ISO audit document preparation.
• Prepare and submit safety reports to WSH Manager.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
