Job summary

FINEBUILD SYSTEMS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead and monitor safety practices on construction sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe work environment through inspections and training.

You will conduct regular site inspections, deliver toolbox talks, investigate incidents, and maintain safety documentation while coordinating with project teams to embed health and safety throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Safety Coordinator in construction.
• Certificate in Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safe work practices on construction sites to prevent accidents.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify, mitigate safety hazards.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain safety documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Manage site operations, workers and subcontractors to uphold safety standards.
• Enforce PPE usage by all personnel on site.
• Collaborate with project management to integrate safety into all project phases.
• Perform additional duties to support site safety and project success.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safe work practices and procedures on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify, assess, and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel to enhance safety awareness and compliance
• Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate safety documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes
• Manage and monitor site operations, workers, and subcontractors to uphold safety standards
• Enforce the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel on site
• Collaborate with the project management team to integrate safety considerations into all project phases
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall site safety and project success

Required competencies and certifications
