Job summary

Asia Advance Human Resource seeks a Safety Coordinator to support a cleaning service client in Singapore. The role involves enforcing safety compliance, conducting site inspections, investigations, and safety training across multiple sites in Jurong East.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of safety, WSHC experience, and an Advanced WSH Level B certification, with proficiency in IMS standards and MS Office. On-site, 5-day week, with a salary of SGD 3,000–4,000 for a 1-year contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment.
• Advanced Certification in WSH (Level B) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IMS (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company’s compliance to environmental, occupational health and safety laws/regulations and other requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and recommend practicable control measures through safety reports.
• Measure and monitor the performance of site inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Perform accident/near-miss investigations and report findings with recommended actions.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and safe work procedures for the company and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and training.
• Update and maintain safety records, incident reports and statistics.
• Assist to maintain IMS and ensure system compliance through audits and documentation.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
