Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer with JAC/IES Singapore or ACE Singapore.
• At least 5 years of QA inspections on large infrastructure or water industry projects.
• Familiarity with BS trade areas and BIM software is an advantage.

Working Days/ Hours: 44 hours a week, 5.5 days

Location: Tuas (Transport provided from Jurong East)

Our client is an MNC Consultancy in the water and wastewater industry.

With more than 100-year heritage, helping companies across the globe efficiently and effectively collect, store, move and treat water and wastewater, plan and manage watersheds and harness the energy embedded in the treatment and movement of water.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist Resident Engineer in daily close supervision and coordination duties on Building Services mechanical and electrica
• Inspect and supervise Contractors’ works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
• Implement quality assurance plan in a well-coordinated manner
• Coordinate with Contractors on execution of works

Requirements:

• Registered as Resident Technical Officer with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
• Diploma/ Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure project, or solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore.
• The candidate will be assigned duties mainly for Building services (BS) works for both mechanical and electrical aspects, hence candidate to be well versed in BS trade.
• Areas of supervision may include sanitary and plumbing, firefighting, ACMV, Electrical distribution, power generation, lighting design, security systems, EVC system, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, IBMS etc
• Familiarity with BIM software is an advantage
