Job summary

Kingsforce Management Services Pte Ltd is hiring a Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) in Singapore with 5 years of site supervision experience, preferably on water or wastewater projects. You will work with the Resident Engineer to ensure compliance with project specs and regulatory standards, review designs, and supervise FAT/SAT activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of site supervision experience, preferably in water or wastewater projects.
• BCA-registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with JAC accreditation (IES/ACES) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) per Building Control Act and supervise works.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineer and project team to ensure compliance with specs, standards, codes and regs.
• Review and approve design calculations, drawings and submissions on site.
• Provide regular site progress updates to the project team.
• Document inspections, tests and site activities per BCA requirements and regs.
• Arrange, coordinate and witness FAT and SAT.
• Inspect and certify value of completed works for progress payments.
• Monitor electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works against approved drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure smooth execution.

Job description

• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Building Control Act as the Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) responsible for the supervision of works.
• Work closely with the Resident Engineer (RE) and the project team to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the RE in reviewing and approving design calculations, drawings, and technical submissions at site.
• Provide proactive and regular site progress updates to the project team.
• Ensure proper and consistent documentation of inspections, tests, and site activities in accordance with BCA requirements and applicable regulations.
• Arrange, coordinate, and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Conduct site inspections and verify and certify the value of completed works for the RE's recommendation and processing of the contractor's progress payments.
• Monitor the quality and progress of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably within water or wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Must be a BCA-registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) and accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES and ACES.
• Relevant experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) works will be highly advantageous.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, inspection, testing, commissioning, and technical documentation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of relevant Singapore codes, regulations, and site safety requirements.
• A self-starter who is proactive, diligent, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
