Job summary

SANKYU (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced technician to maintain and service rotating and general equipment at our facility in Singapore. You will lead a team of workers and riggers, overseeing maintenance tasks and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role requires performing overhaul inspections on compressors, turbines, pumps, gearboxes and related components, and assisting the Foreman with troubleshooting and dye penetrant testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on and supervisory experience in rotating equipment maintenance.
• Experience lifting, transporting heavy equipment, and overhaul inspections.
• Ability to read cross-sectional drawings of rotating equipment.
• Strong ability to perform alignment tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and servicing of rotating and general equipment.

• Overhaul and inspect major compressors, turbines, SUNDYNE pumps/blowers, multi-stage pumps (horizontal/vertical), reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, draft fans, small turbines, gearboxes, and double-suction horizontal pumps.
• Assist Foreman (ROT) in troubleshooting rotating equipment and conducting dye penetrant testing.
• Fabricate special tools for overhaul work.
• Carry out other assigned duties as required.
