Grand Hyatt Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Rooms to lead Front Office and Housekeeping operations within the Rooms division. The role reports to the Director of Rooms and focuses on ensuring exceptional guest experiences while guiding day-to-day operations and strategic projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in Rooms management, a hospitality degree, and strong international guest service capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds
• Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills
• At least 5 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, administrative skills and ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities
• Possess a university degree, preferably in Hotel/Hospitality
• Knowledge of Opera system is considered an asset
• Experience with opening hotels or hotel pre-opening preferred
• Flexibility to work early mornings/evenings and weekends as needed

Responsabilidades

• Oversee short and long term planning and management of Front Office operations
• Support the Director of Rooms and collaborate with housekeeping on planning and management of housekeeping and laundry operations
• Develop and recommend the budget, labour cost plans and objectives and manage within approved plans
• Prepare revenue and occupancy forecasting and monitor labor expenses through schedule approval
• Coordinate major projects such as renovations, capital expenditures and equipment changes
• Review, analyze and plan to achieve customer service goals in collaboration with senior leadership across divisions
• Create expectations, lead people, manage processes, and hold people accountable for activities and schedules
• Maintain excellent communication between each Rooms division team
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve guest complaints as necessary
• Hire, train, coach and counsel associates to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
